For Game Masters who write their own rules
Your homebrew system, finally playable.
SheetCrafter turns your rules into living character sheets. Build the system once — your players just play.
How a world gets made
Three steps from rulebook scribbles to a living table.
Forge your system
Your rules, written in fields, dice, and formulas. No preset stats, no borrowed assumptions — if your world runs on Resolve and Ash instead of Wisdom and Gold, the sheet does too.
Craft the sheets
Arrange every block with drag-and-drop. Your layout, your structure — the sheet your table actually needs, not the closest printable approximation.
Run the campaign
Invite your players — they build characters from your system, free. Keep NPCs, monsters, items, and lore in the Codex: a living encyclopedia of your world.
The rest of your arsenal
The Codex
NPCs, monsters, items, spells — every piece of your world is an entry. Tag them, link them, hand them to your players as a living encyclopedia.
Formula engine
Calculated fields that compute themselves from any stat on the sheet.
Players join free
Your players use your system without paying a thing. Limits apply to owners only.
Images & tokens
Upload art for sheets and codex entries.
Templates
Build a system once, reuse it across every campaign you run.
Any system
Homebrew or published — if you can write the rules, the sheet can hold them.

Questions from the table
What GMs ask before they commit.
SheetCrafter is a web-based toolset for tabletop RPG Game Masters and Players. It lets GMs design custom sheet templates, build a reference codex, and manage campaigns — all from a single platform.
No. Every SheetCrafter account can be both a player and a Game Master. Subscription limits — like the number of campaigns, codex entries, and players — only apply when you're the campaign owner. As a player in someone else's campaign, everything is free.
Absolutely. SheetCrafter doesn't lock you into any specific game system. You design your own sheet templates from scratch, so it works for D&D, Pathfinder, homebrew systems, or any tabletop RPG you can imagine.
It's built for Game Masters running homebrew or custom TTRPG campaigns, and for their players. GMs create the rules and templates; players use them to build characters and track their progression.
From the GM Dashboard, you can create campaigns and templates independently. Templates are reusable sheet blueprints built with text fields, numbers, dropdowns, checkboxes, calculated fields, images, and links between entries. You can then assign any template to any of your campaigns. Once a campaign is set up, invite players and they'll use your templates to create their codex entries.
The Codex is a shared reference library within each campaign. GMs and players can add entries for anything — characters, objects, skills, and more. Entries are organized by tags and can be linked together, creating a living encyclopedia for your world.
Yes! The Adventurer plan is completely free with no credit card required. It includes 1 campaign, up to 250 codex entries, 3 players, and 10 MB of image storage. Paid plans unlock higher limits.
The Dungeon Master plan increases your limits to 4 campaigns, 500 entries per campaign, 7 players, and 50 MB of storage. The Master of Realms plan goes further with 10 campaigns, unlimited entries, 15 players, and 200 MB of storage. Both are available monthly or yearly.
Each player has a unique username handle (e.g. @username). Players share their handle with their GM, who can then search and add them directly to the campaign from the player management section.
The forge is lit.
Your system is waiting to be more than notes in a margin. Build it once. Run it forever.
